While some coaches are still not certain about which players to bring to Brazil in order to represent their respective countries, Argentina is not going through the same conundrum as the head coach Alejandro Sabella has already announced the players that will be playing against Romania for their upcoming friendly match and those same performers are expected to play for Argentina for the 2014 World Cup.

The squad that Alejandro Sabella selected was already established some weeks ago as the tactician already has a clean cut vision for what he wants his squad to do when they go against Bosnia, Iran and Nigeria for their upcoming World Cup matches.

The team consists of: Sergio Romero, Mariano Andujar, Hugo Campagnaro, Lisandro Lopez, Federico Fernandez, Gino Peruzzi, Pablo Zabaleta, Ezequiel Garay, Marcos Rojo, Jose Basanta, Nicolas Otamendi, Javier Mascherano, Jose Sosa, Angel Di Maria, Augusto Fernandez, Ricardo Alvarez, Lucas Biglia, Lionel Messi, Rodrigo Palacio, Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Aguero, Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Alejandrro Sabella will be leaving out Carlos Tevez, Esteban Cambiasso and Martin Demichelis for the friendly match against Romania and they are not expected to play in the 2014 World Cup squad. Tevez has been performing impressively well with Juventus but it seems like it is not going to be enough for him to represent Argentina at the biggest stage of them all, the World Cup.

Carlos Tevez has not played for Argentina after the 2011 Copa America when he was the only player from either side to miss in the quarter-final penalty shootout against Uruguay which ultimately resulted in Argentina’s elimination and ever since Alejandro Sabella was appointed as the coach of Argentina, he has not been called up.

It is believed that Tevez does not have a healthy relationship with Sabella and that is the main reason on why the Juventus player has not been featured for Argentina ever since Sabella was appointed as the new coach of the team.
